Paris St-Germain have signed Napoli forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia until June 2029. The Georgia international, who was linked with Liverpool and Chelsea, asked to leave Serie A leaders Napoli last week after failing to agree a contract extension.

The Georgia star moves to Paris for a mooted €75m fee, signing a contract to 2029. Kvaratskhelia won the Scudetto with Napoli and finished with a record of 54 goals and assists in 107 appearances. "It's a dream to be here," said the 23-year-old winger. "I've heard so many positive things about PSG.

Kvaratskhelia joined Napoli for €10m in July 2022 and during his time with the Partenopei, won a rare Serie A title for the club in a season in which he was crowned the league's Player of the Season and also holds the record for the most Serie A Player of the Month award wins with four.

Kvaratskhelia arrives in the French capital after failing to reach an agreement with Napoli to extend his contract, which was due to run until 2027, with the winger requesting his exit last week.
