ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Pat Jones II signed a two-year, $20 million deal with the Carolina Panthers. A 2021 third-round pick, Jone follows in the footsteps of fellow former Vikings D.J. Wonnum, who signed to Carolina at the end of his rookie contract a year ago.

Allen, 30, was a first-round pick for Washington back in 2017, and has since amassed 42 sacks, 401 tackles, 60 tackles for loss, 118 quarterback hits, five passes defended and forced two fumbles. Defensive tackle was certainly an area of need for the Vikings entering free agency, and signing Allen will certainly give the line a boost.

The Tennessee Titans are bringing in a veteran safety to help steady the defense in former Carolina Panthers standout Xavier Woods.

Via Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, Panthers safety Xavier Woods has agreed to terms with the Titans. It's a two-year, $10 million deal. As Schefter notes, Woods participated in 100 percent of the Panthers' defensive snaps in 2024.
