A manhunt was underway on Monday for a police sergeant suspected of stealing more than HK$1 million in bail money while on duty at Wan Chai Police Station.

A senior police inspector in Hong Kong has denied stealing two cans of abalone from his colleagues at the force’s headquarters in Wan Chai.

And when the murder case is solved, and the two women killed are laid to rest, Wan Chai – Hong Kong’s dark heart – will continue to beat.

Police officers said, the Malaysian man, 26, was arrested on suspicion of trafficking the substance after finding drug concealed in furniture.
