The Homeland Security Department has scrapped a Biden policy that kept immigration authorities away from sensitive community places.

In a move to enforce United States President Donald Trump’s policy, the US immigration authorities have been granted the ability to arrest individuals at schools, churches, and hospitals. This follows Trump’s reversal of policies that previously classified these locations as off-limits for enforcement.

Officers enforcing immigration laws will now be able to arrest migrants at sensitive locations like schools and churches after the Trump administration threw out policies limiting where those arrests could happen.
