The Gemini app has a new leader, and Josh Woodward today laid out Google’s strategy to build a “personal, proactive, and powerful assistant.”

Google told parents that the tool has guardrails in place to protect from unsafe content and can help children with homework and make up stories.

Google is rolling out a version of Gemini just for kids under 13. In an email today to parents of supervised accounts, Google announced that Gemini apps will soon be available for child accounts with parental controls.
