The season is not quite done yet, though, with Chelsea still to play Real Betis in the Europa Conference League final on Wednesday. Well…nothing much. Chelsea thrashed their Spanish opponents 4-1 after a rousing second half comeback, but there is no impact on European qualification from the Premier League.

On Wednesday the Europa Conference League Final arrives, and while Real Betis and Chelsea may have both secured European spots for next season by virtue of their league performances, it will still be an important affair as neither have won a trophy this season.

Chelsea won the Conference League after beating Real Betis 4-1 in Wednesday’s final in Wroclaw, Poland. The Blues got off to a sluggish start and were second best throughout the opening 45 minutes, but a rousing second half turned things around for the English side.
