A Beatrice man was arrested Saturday night for various violations, the police department said, including driving under the influence and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Amanda Kirshbaum was arrested and charged with DUI. She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and later released on $1,000 bond. A court date is pending.
