Nottingham Forest have made an approach to sign Brentford forward Yoane Wissa. The Bees value Wissa at far beyond the £22m which was reportedly offered by Forest and will not accept bids in that price range despite their striker having just 18 months left to run on his current contract.

Brentford have no intention of selling Yoane Wissa this month, after Nottingham Forest made a bid of around £20 million for the striker.

Brentford have rejected Nottingham Forest ’s opening bid for Yoane Wissa. Forest are understood to have offered around £20million for the forward, but the Bees have no plans to sell the forward this month. Wissa is a long-term target for Forest, who were interested in a deal last summer and are expected to be undeterred by Brentford’s stance.

Nottingham Forest have submitted a £22million bid to sign Yoane Wissa from Brentford. Forest’s proposal is significantly below Brentford’s valuation of the forward, whose current contract runs through to 2026.

Brentford are expected to reject this bid out of hand and are not keen to sell. The offer is understood to have been lower than £22m - far short of their valuation of the forward. Wissa is one of Forest's top targets and they were interested in him last summer.
