The Arkansas Razorbacks got two big keepers on Wednesday, as defensive end Charlie Collins and tight end Jaden Platt announced they were returning for the Hogs' first season under Coach Ryan Silverfield.

Arkansas added Steven Soles, Khmori House, Shelton Lews and Jamonta Walker through portal to address lack of players on defense.

Other defenders who have committed to Arkansas during this portal cycle are linebackers Khmori House of North Carolina, Jamonta Waller of Auburn, Ja'Quavion Smith of Howard and Steven Soles of Kentucky, and defensive backs Shelton Lewis of Clemson, Jaheim Johnson of Tulane and Christian Harrison of Cincinnati.

Two University of Arkansas in-state players -- defensive end Charlie Collins and quarterback Grayson Wilson -- are planning to enter the NCAA transfer portal when it opens Friday.

The 5-foot-10, 195-pounder has trimmed his list to five schools with Arkansas Razorbacks, Oregon Ducks, Kansas State Wildcats, and Memphis Tigers joining the Ole Miss Rebels as finalists. According to multiple reports, Foster has also locked in a visit schedule with Ole Miss set to get one this upcoming week:

Platt was ranked the No. 4 tight end in the 2024 class by 247Sports coming out of Eaton High School in Haslet, Texas. He was recruited to Texas A&M by Bobby Petrino, who then landed Platt out of the transfer portal two years later while offensive coordinator at Arkansas.
