New Jersey state police are searching for an escaped prisoner and registered sex offender who allegedly fled a transport van outside a Newark hospital last week.

White is accused of participating in a series of thefts targeting luxury vehicles, including BMWs, a Porsche, a Range Rover and Mercedes, as well as jewelry and a firearm.
