FOND DU LAC (WLUK) -- The man accused of setting fire to a Northeast Wisconsin congressman's office over the short-lived TikTok ban appeared in court Wednesday. Caiden Stachowicz, 19, of Menasha, is charged with arson, attempted burglary, criminal damage to property and terrorist threats.

The man contended the shutdown violated his constitutional rights and no longer believes peaceful protest is an option.

No one was injured. The building, which includes a district office of a Wisconsin congressman who has been a critic of TikTok, sustained moderate damage in the fire on Sunday.
