The Cincinnati Reds continued their roster build ahead of spring training with the acquisition of a left-handed arm to bolster the pitching staff.
The Cincinnati Reds are reportedly adding to their bullpen through a trade with the San Francisco Giants. On Wednesday, multiple reports indicated that the Reds are acquiring left-hander Taylor Rogers from the Giants. It’s not known what the Reds will be sending the Giants in the trade. The two clubs have not confirmed the deal.
After one year split between the San Diego Padres and Milwaukee Brewers in 2022, Rogers joined his twin brother, Tyler Rogers, in the Giants' bullpen. In 64 games last year, Rogers logged a 2.40 ERA and 9.6 K/9.
