Rozier is currently in the third year of his four-year, $96,258,694 contract he signed in 2022. Porter, a former Raptors player, was banned by the NBA for life after he was found to have limited his participation in games for betting purposes. He pleaded guilty in July to wire fraud conspiracy.

The gambling ring accused of conspiring with Jontay Porter to manipulate his performance in NBA games also bet heavily against Rozier in a 2023 game for the Hornets.

Butler was not on the injury report for Monday’s matchup against the Orlando Magic at Kaseya Center (7:30 p.m., FanDuel Sports Network Sun), with multiple league sources indicating that the Heat will make Butler available for the game barring something unexpected. Butler plans to continue to make himself available to the Heat for games.
