LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A new movie based on a 63-hour hostage situation in Indianapolis is now shooting in Louisville. The film, “Dead Man’s Wire,” is based on the true story of Anthony Kiritsis. Here's a description of the movie:

Hollywood is taking over downtown Louisville for the state's latest feature film, "Dead Man's Wire." Just last week, crews were spotted filming around Fifth and Jefferson streets and on Monday, Louisville's Metro Hall was part of the fun.

INDIANAPOLIS — Two men were sentenced to a combined more than eight decades for the robberies of two armored bank cars in Indianapolis in 2021. Devante Foster was sentenced to 46 years, with 36 of those in the Indiana Department of Correction. Lonnie McGill received a 38-year sentence, with 28 years to be served in prison.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Wilco will play in Louisville this spring. The Chicago band is bringing "An Evening with Wilco" to Iroquois Amphitheater on May 17. The concert includes two sets by the band, with a short intermission. The Louisville show does not include an opener.

Crews completed the final phase of the Sherman Minton Renewal project in December. However, a spokesperson says some lane restrictions are necessary next week to perform the final inspection.
