Baldoni, who had previously hinted at more legal action, filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, the actress's publicist Leslie Sloan and the couple's publicity firm Vision PR. As spelled out in 179-page lawsuit, filed by Baldoni’s attorney in New York, Baldoni is suing Lively, Reynolds and Sloan for:

The “Gossip Girl” alum accused her co-star of sexual harassment in December 2024, as well as engaging in an alleged social media smear campaign.

While Hoover, 45, has not revealed her reasons for stepping back from social media, her decision to do so just days after Baldoni filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, has sparked speculation that the two incidents might be connected.

In December, Lively filed a complaint against Baldoni for sexual harassment and retaliation, and within days sued him, alleging that she suffered emotional distress from her costar and director, who she says sought to malign her character via an online campaign allegedly coordinated with his publicity team.

Baldoni responded with his own lawsuit, suing Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and other defendants for $400 million. He accused them of defamation and other contractual claims, according to court documents obtained by NBC News.
