That route is the Big Sky North Coast Corridor which would run through southern Montana. Montana State comes into a matchup with Sacramento State after winning six games in a row on the road. Thursday's meeting is the first this season for the two squads.

The new-look Montana softball team, directed by first-year skipper Stef Ewing, will make its debut a week from Friday against Colgate in Phoenix.
