While the Trump administration’s threatened tariffs may have some foreign manufacturers scrambling, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) finds itself in a somewhat better position. The foundry spent years and huge sums of money constructing a fabrication plant in Arizona.

Donald Trump recently mentioned that he would impose tariffs of around 25% or more on semiconductor imports. An announcement will come as soon as 2nd April.
