Sepulveda Fire initially started 12:36 a.m. Jan. 23 in Los Angeles County. After being active for 35 hours, it has burned 45 acres. As of Friday noon, the fire crew successfully encircled the entire perimeter of the fire in control lines. The cause is, however, still being investigated.

LOS ANGELES - A fire broke out along the 405 Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass near Sherman Oaks. The "Sepulveda Fire" was reported around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22 in the northbound lanes of the 405 Freeway.

It was first reported just after 11 p.m. Wednesday near northbound lanes of the freeway in Sherman Oaks, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
