Fetty Wap's sister is recognizing April as Second Chance Month by advocating for her rapper brother's early prison release.

Efforts to spring Fetty Wap from prison have ramped up. The Grammy Award-nominated rapper was sentenced to six years behind bars in 2023 for drug trafficking and has served nearly half his time.

Fetty Wap’s debut single, “Trap Queen,” was released in early 2014 and became his first Top 10 entry on the Billboard Hot 100. He had a deal with 300 Entertainment before the year was up.

Fetty Wap's first album doesn't come out for another month, and the rapper is already breaking records. He's the first artist to simultaneously have four singles on the Billboard Top 10 rap songs.
