Manchester United were handed a tricky Europa League last 16 tie against Real Sociedad while Tottenham Hotspur will play Dutch side AZ Alkmaar after the draw was held on Friday, but both managers are more concerned about their Premier League form.

Manchester United have been drawn to face Real Sociedad in the Europa League round of 16, while Tottenham Hotspur will take on AZ Alkmaar. Elsewhere, Rangers will face Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce, AS Roma go up against Athletic Club and Ajax drew Eintracht Frankfurt.

Winning the Europa League has become somewhat of a necessity for Manchester United this year as they seek to salvage what has been a bitterly disappointing campaign. Any hopes of finishing in the Premier League's top four were extinguished months ago but United do still have a route to next season's Champions League,
