Stanley has received 91 reports worldwide, including 16 in the U.S., of the recalled travel mugs’ lids detaching during use, resulting in 38 burn injuries worldwide, including two burn injuries in the U.S., with 11 consumers worldwide requiring medical attention.

The renowned drinkware company, Stanley has decided to recall more than 2 million units of one of its travel mugs line from the market. Following the recall, Stanley also issued the advisory that customers who possess the popular travel mug should immediately refrain from using it due to a defect that they have discovered.
