Pakistan has expressed grief over the devastating fire at a hotel in the Kartalkaya ski resort in Bolu, Türkiye, this morning. The Foreign Office, in a statement today, said the unfortunate accident has resulted in sixty-six fatalities and 51 injured.

Turkey has detained nine people, including the owner of the hotel, in connection with a deadly fire that claimed the lives of 76 people and injured dozens at a ski resort in western Turkey, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said early Wednesday.

Yerlikaya noted that search-and-rescue operations at the fire site had been completed. He also expressed condolences to the families of the victims and to the people of Türkiye. The minister stated that the bodies of 52 victims had been identified by their families.
