Stanley is recalling 2.6 million mugs sold in the U.S. after the company received dozens of consumer complaints, including some users who reported getting burned and requiring medical attention.

The renowned drinkware company Stanley has decided to recall more than 2 million units of one of its travel mugs line from the market. Following the recall, Stanley also issued the advisory that customers who possess the popular travel mug should immediately refrain from using it due to a defect that they have discovered.

Stanley has recalled 2.6 million popular travel mugs in the United States after dozens reported loose tops causing burn injuries. The Switchback and Trigger Action stainless steel travel mugs, two of the company’s top products,
