On Friday at 6:09 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 6:45 p.m. for Crawford County. The storms may bring half-dollar-sized hail (1.25 inches) and wind gusts of up to 60 mph.

Forecasters say a new batch of strong thunderstorms may hit parts of the state Friday night, with gusts up to 70 mph and hail as big as ping pong balls.
