Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani discussed developments in the Gaza ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement with his Egyptian and Emirati counterparts on Friday. Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said Sheikh Mohammed spoke with Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty to review “bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them.”

Storyline: In a joint statement issued by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States, the three mediators affirmed their role as guarantors of a Gaza ceasefire-for-hostages deal, saying they would help ensure that all three stages of the ceasefire will be fully implemented by both parties.
