Mookie Betts hasn't had the best season offensively this year for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and he didn't hold back when discussing if he could make it better.

Betts says “It’s been a lot” after battling illness earlier in the year, breaking a toe and losing his stepfather as he shifts his focus to helping Dodgers win one game at a time.

Betts excelled in multiple sports, including baseball, basketball and bowling, even nearly being born in a bowling alley. He overcame early career struggles and considered quitting baseball before a twist of fate led him to continue.
