Michigan State has had a massive need at running back following the departures of Nate Carter and Kay'Ron Lynch-Adams. The Spartans landed their first replacement from the portal. Elijah Tau-Tolliver has made his commitment to Michigan State.

Eaton began his career at Oklahoma, where he played three years before moving to Texas State, where he was a starter for the past two seasons. With TSU, he racked up 49 tackles and 13 pass breakups, while he only gave up 17 catches for 264 yards in the 2024 season.

Michigan State football's 2025 schedule is completed and shuffled. With a long road ahead, but one familiar face at home. The Spartans will host rival Michigan on Oct. 25, or at least Week 9 of the season.
