Lamping's extension allows the Jacksonville Jaguars to maintain continuity in their front office in search of a new general manager.

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced on Tuesday that President Mark Lamping received an extension through the 2030 NFL season. Lamping has been the Jaguars' President since 2012 and part of his job description includes leading the team's business operations.

The Jaguars’ front office and coaching staffs have seen plenty of change this offseason. Continuity will be in place with respect to president Mark Lamping, however.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan today announced a contract extension for Mark Lamping, the team's president. The agreement will ensure that Lamping will continue to lead the team's business operations through the 2030 NFL season.

Since then, the Jaguars hired former Bucs offensive coordinator Liam Coen as their new head coach, but have yet to find a new general manager. Early reports indicated that Coen would work with the organization to find a new general manager.
