IOWA CITY — North Dakota State transfer kicker Eli Ozick has committed to Iowa football, he announced Jan. 4. Ozick was 19-of-23 on field goals and 66-of-67 on extra points in his career with the Bison. He also attempted 257 kickoffs. Ozick will come to the Hawkeyes with two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Iowa State QB Rocco Becht commits to Penn State from transfer portal, per report
Becht will join the Nittany Lions after spending four seasons at Iowa State, with three as a starter under then-head coach Matt Campbell.

Penn State has added its 13th former Iowa State Cyclone via the transfer portal. Starting ISU linebacker Kooper Ebel committed to the Nittany Lions, he announced Sunday night on social media. Ebel tied for the team lead with 77 tackles this past season. That matched the output of safety Marcus Neal, who has also committed to Penn State.

Penn State adds starting running back Carson Hansen from Iowa State in portal
With Hansen on board, he’s now one of nine former Iowa State players to join new head coach Matt Campbell at Penn State, who joined the program from the Cyclones. Becht and Hansen are joined by tight ends Benjamin Brahmer and Gabe Burkle, OT Will Tompkins, S Marcus Neal Jr., QB Alex Manske, WR Brett Eskildsen and LB Caleb Bacon.
The Spartans' hiring of LeVar Woods as assistant head coach and special teams coordinator is paying off quickly. Woods was previously at Iowa, and now the Hawkeyes' starting punter from the last two seasons, Rhys Dakin, is following Woods to East Lansing. Dakin announced his decision on his Instagram page on Sunday afternoon.
