Honda Motor revealed the company's newest electric vehicles that are set to be produced at a multibillion-dollar manufacturing complex in Ohio. The vehicles are the Honda 0 Saloon, which is an updated version of a concept car revealed last year at CES,

The Saloon and SUV are near-production models of the EV concepts Honda introduced at CES in 2024. They are slated for production in Ohio in 2026.

A year ago, at CES, Honda kicked off the year shocking everyone with a wedge-shaped EV concept that it called the “0-series.” This all-black, twin-gullwing concept car was said to be a preview of Honda’s full self-developed EV efforts, unlike the GM-based Honda Prologue meant to be a stopgap until this car was up and running.

Honda reintroduces its 0 Series electric vehicles at CES 2025, announcing the new Asimo operating system and plans to begin production in 2026.

In questions from the press, American Honda dodged any relationship with Afeela, the electric vehicle startup made in partnership with Sony and Honda. Its first sedan is due to debut in 2026, and it will be produced out of the Ohio EV Hub. Honda provides the EV platform and propulsion technologies used in the 0 Series models to Afeela.

Honda revealed the 0 Series electric vehicles—the Honda 0 SUV and Honda 0 Saloon prototypes. These vehicles show Honda's vision for the future of electric mobility, with production models coming to North America in 2026.
