Cooper Flagg has signed with the Dallas Mavericks on a four-year rookie deal, the franchise announced. Terms of the contract for the 2025 NBA Draft's No. 1 pick were not disclosed, but Flagg is set to make $62.7 million over the deal per the NBA's rookie salary scale for the 2025-26 season.

Cooper Flagg has been one of the most highly anticipated prospects in recent NBA history. After an incredible season at Duke, the 18-year-old was the first pick in the 2025 NBA Draft last month (by the Dallas Mavericks). On Wednesday, the Mavs officially announced that they had signed Flagg.

Flagg was the No. 1 player in the class of 2024, per 247Sports' composite rankings, and he was widely projected to be the first pick in the 2025 draft even before he stepped foot on campus last year. His play in his lone season at Duke all but confirmed that he was the best player in this year's draft class.
