After “Blue Bloods” aired its series finale on Friday, Donnie Wahlberg, who played Detective Danny Reagan, took a moment to reflect on fourteen seasons of the CBS police procedural — and pen a love note to the show’s loyal fans.

As BLUE BLOODS draws to a close, star Donnie Wahlberg is looking back on some of Danny Reagan’s best moments. In an interview with TV Insider, Wahlberg first mentioned a Season 4 moment where Erin was held hostage and Danny came to save her, which the actor called “one of the coolest moments” for his character.
