Neither the Alabama Crimson Tide or the Michigan Wolverines had the types of seasons they wanted in 2024. Alabama (9-3 overall) lost three games, which was one too many to keep them out of the 12-team College Football Playoff.

The 2024-25 college football bowl season is finally here, as teams from around the nation will face off with postseason glory on the line. Over the next month and change, we will see programs battle it out for the right to eat a larger-than-life Pop-Tart, for their coach to get doused in a bucket of mayonnaise.

On Friday, Dec. 13, Alabama running back Justice Haynes, coming out of his second season, entered the transfer portal, to the horror of fans in Tuscaloosa. And, according to On3’s Pete Nakos, Michigan football and Ohio State are the two schools competing for his services.

Michigan football just got two late Monday commitments from Arkansas defensive back brothers TJ and Tevis Metcalf. But the fun continues into the night, as the Wolverines are still rolling in the transfer portal.

Michigan didn’t stop with a pair of defensive backs from Arkansas on Monday. Shortly after TJ and Tevis Metcalf committed to the Wolverines, Sherrone Moore’s staff received word that Cal Poly offensive lineman Brady Norton is also headed to Ann Arbor.
