The teenage girl who killed two people inside her Wisconsin school was a new student, just weeks into her first semester there, school officials said.

Two people were killed, a suspected 15-year-old shooter is dead and at least six others were injured on Monday when a student opened fire at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, authorities said.

About 335 students are enrolled in the school from kindergarten to 12th grade. It shares a 28-acre campus with Campus for Kids Learning Center, a program for infants through 4-year-old kindergarten, and the nondenominational City Church.
