The current Amarok was designed wholly by VW. (VW) This one might be one day, VW Chairman Herbert Diess said during the program's announcement last year, but it is primarily aimed at other markets.

Speaking of design, VW released the first teaser for the Ranger-based 2023 Amarok back in March and naturally, those early sketches often if not always exaggerate the visuals and the proportions.
