USS Harry S. Truman back at sea after weeklong stay for repairs following collision
Sailors worked with maintenance personnel, the Navy’s shipyard in Norfolk, Va., and a Greek ship repair company to assess damage, develop a repair plan, and restore weathertight integrity to the ship following a collision on Feb.
There were no reports of injuries or flooding after the USS Harry S. Truman was involved in a collision, the Navy said.
The SS United States may have already passed by Hampton Roads on one of its final voyages as it heads to become the world's largest artificial reef.
The SS United States set the transatlantic speed record on its maiden voyage in 1952, a record it still holds today.
