The Snap Specs look surprisingly svelte for glasses that can pull off many of the same tricks as the Apple Vision Pro, but seeing Snap CEO Evan Spiegel wear them made me wince.

Snapchat's parent company has announced it is releasing new smart glasses, a decade after its original pair lost the company tens of millions of dollars.

Snap is currently bleeding cash, having recently chopped 16% of its workforce (about 1,000 jobs) to keep the lights on.
