September marks Heritage Month in South Africa ... Kgalagadi and Tlôkwa clans. The Sepedi language consists of many dialects, which mainly depends on where you come from in Limpopo.

As South Africans prepared to celebrate Heritage Day ... to represent and defend Sepedi (Sesotho sa Leboa) through the written word, and I appreciate how the AVBOB Poetry Competition honours ...

Sepedi, Xhosa, Swazi and Ndebele, and they all met in a spirit of unity through diversity. The event saw cultural performances ranging from Makgakgasa, Kiba, Malopo as well as renditions of poems.
