A red husky named Zeus in Stafford Springs, Connecticut, is recovering from gunshot wounds to the head as his owners ask for the public’s help.

Mateo, a red Siberian husky, was shot four times by a person on a trail near Cline Buttes near Redmond, Oregon, on New Year’s Eve, Stephen Richardson said.

The full-price adoption fee is $85 for cats and $130 for dogs, plus a $30 county license fee for dogs, if the adopters are San Luis Obispo County residents.
