The Minnesota Vikings didn't start out the most active in free agency, but they certainly came to life on Tuesday morning, agreeing to terms on contracts with right guard Will Fries and defensive linemen Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave on contracts.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero posted on X (formerly Twitter) that with Darnold joining the Seattle Seahawks and Jones off to Indianapolis, McCarthy is now "likely" to be the Vikings' starting quarterback in 2025.
