After his brief football career, Tuiasosopo transitioned into acting. His first credit was in 1991’s sports comedy “Necessary Roughness.” He went on to play E Honda in the live-action 1994 video game adaptation “Street Fighter” and had other notable roles in 1998’s “BASKETBALL” and 2001’s “The Fast and the Furious .”

Veteran television and film star Peter Navy Tuiasosopo, known for Street Fighter and several other titles, has died. He was 61. Tuiasosopo’s son Manoah Peter Tuiasosopo announced the news with a statement on Facebook.
