LAKE COUNTY, Ind. (WGN) — The owner of a police dog training company, and one of two men accused of animal cruelty after nine dogs died in transport, has been found not guilty on all charges.

Police dogs, often referred to as K9s or K-9s, are specially trained to assist law enforcement officers in tasks ranging from tracking suspects and detecting narcotics to locating missing persons.
