Three days before the Illinois legislature is scheduled to adjourn, Gov. JB Pritzker offered few details on the status of budget negotiations.

Gov. JB Pritzker said Wednesday he will not sign a budget that includes broad tax hikes to fund new spending as lawmakers are in the final hours of budget negotiations.

The Illinois General Assembly has until May 31 to pass a budget, and a looming transit fiscal cliff and the Bears' stadium project are among the biggest questions.
