Orange County Superior Court Judge Gary Paer said that if he could have, he would have given convicted murderer Antonio Padilla, 37, a harsher sentence in the 2022 murder of Gina Lockhart.

Antonio Padilla was convicted Feb. 18 of second-degree murder in the June 30, 2022, killing of 60-year-old Regina “Gina” Marie Lockhart.
