The GalGael Trust in Govan asked former Environment Minister Mike Russell if he could help with supplies during a recent visit. Now the organisation has been given enough wood to build a whole boat.

The GalGael Trust was set up some 20 years ago ... There is a sense we are taking part in something ancient. Alongside us is Govan Old Church, the site of an early Viking settlement.
