A vision for the future of the Elmwood Park Zoo could soon begin taking shape after Norristown council members authorized conditional use approval of a master plan on Tuesday.

Elmwood Park Zoo has been a community staple in Norristown for more than 100 years. They celebrated the centennial last summer with a brand new Welcome Center and Veterinary Hospital.
