One might say it has been a roller-coaster start to the December weather here in DC, but that would imply that there have been "ups" to the forecast. The reality is, the forecast has been consistent in the D.
Clouds increase again on Friday with a few snowflakes possible (especially southwest of D.C.), but many areas stay dry. Temperatures remain unseasonably cool in the upper 30s Friday under mainly cloudy skies. Saturday is the mildest day of the weekend with highs in the mid 40s.
The Maryland State Highway Administration will be pretreating all interstates and major routes in the Maryland suburbs of D.C., as well as Baltimore, Harford, Frederick, Carroll and Howard counties and expect to be completed by Monday evening in advance of the onset of the storm, a spokesperson told WTOP.
