Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, the senior senator from New York, on Nov. 4 declined to say who he voted for in the closely watched New York City mayoral race.

The contest features three leading candidates: Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani, a Democrat; former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat running as an independent; and Curtis Sliwa, a Republican.

A Marist Poll conducted between October 24 and 28 found Mamdani leading Cuomo by 16 points among likely voters, 48 percent to 32 percent, with Republican Curtis Sliwa drawing 16 percent.
