Seal, flamingo both die of bird flu at Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two animals at the Lincoln Park Zoo — a seal and a flamingo — died of bird flu last week, the zoo announced Wednesday. The Chilean flamingo, Teal, died Wednesday, Jan. 8.

Their deaths came within a day of each other, the Chicago zoo said in a Jan. 15 news release. Teal, a months-old Chilean flamingo, died Jan. 8 and Slater, a 7-year-old harbor seal, died Jan. 9.
