BC Wildfire Service is responding to a wildfire discovered Monday across the water from Egmont on Sechelt Inlet, less than one kilometre west from the famed Skookumchuck Narrows. As of 4:11 p.m., the fire was 0.5 hectares and classified as "out of control," according to the BC Wildfire Service map. Crews and bucketing helicopters are on the scene.
